Four steps to be prepared

Here are four easy steps customers can take to make sure they’re ready if they experience a disruption. For more details on each of these steps you can visit Toast Central - Offline Mode to learn more.

 

  • Step 2
  • Employees must have permissions set up to process Credit Card payments in offline mode. Learn how to set up permissions here.

 

  • Step 3 - (KDS users only)
  • Currently, KDS does not operate in offline mode. In order to keep your kitchen operational during a disruption, Toast recommends that a backup printer is set up to print tickets while in offline mode.

 

  • Step 4 - TRAIN YOUR TEAM!
  • Train your team so that they are prepared and understand offline mode Do's and Don'ts. We have dedicated training for Employees and Managers.
