Network Administrators keep the lights on and the packets moving. You’ll own the design, deployment, and day-to-day operation of our wired and wireless networks across offices, remote sites, and cloud environments. That means building and maintaining reliable connectivity (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN), enforcing security at every hop (firewalls, NAC, segmentation), and monitoring performance so issues are found and fixed before users even notice. If packets are people, you’re air-traffic control—no mid-air collisions, no excuses.
In this role you’ll implement and tune network services (DNS/DHCP/NTP), manage routing and switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF/BGP basics), and own our firewall and SD-WAN policies. You’ll instrument the network with proper telemetry (SNMP/NetFlow/syslog), set meaningful alerts, and drive capacity planning. When incidents happen, you lead triage: isolate, mitigate, document, and prevent recurrence—targeting tight MTTR and clean change control. You’ll partner with Security on patching and hardening, with Systems on identity and SaaS access, and with Vendors/ISPs to keep circuits and contracts working for us, not the other way around.
The right candidate is fluent in TCP/IP fundamentals, routing/switching, and enterprise Wi-Fi design; comfortable with CLI on major vendors (Cisco/Aruba/Meraki/Ubiquiti/Juniper) and modern cloud networking (VPCs, transit, peering). You automate the boring stuff (Bash/Python/Ansible), write documentation others can actually follow, and communicate clearly with non-network folks. Certifications like CCNA/Network+ (and up) are welcome; real-world problem-solving under pressure matters more. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS) and zero-trust concepts is a plus.
Success looks like stable uptime, low latency, clean handoffs, and no “mystery fixes.” You’ll participate in an on-call rotation, maintain accurate diagrams and inventories, and continuously improve—because yesterday’s “good enough” is tomorrow’s outage.
