Be Prepared For Toast Offline Mode
Four steps to be prepared
Here are four easy steps customers can take to make sure they’re ready if they experience a disruption. For more details on each of these steps you can visit Toast Central - Offline Mode to learn more.
- Step 1
- Make sure you are set up to continue to take Credit Card payments in the event of a service disruption.
- Step 2
- Employees must have permissions set up to process Credit Card payments in offline mode. Learn how to set up permissions here.
- Step 3 - (KDS users only)
- Currently, KDS does not operate in offline mode. In order to keep your kitchen operational during a disruption, Toast recommends that a backup printer is set up to print tickets while in offline mode.
